At first glance the Toyota Tacoma and Honda Ridgeline seem like they should have the same amount of power since they’re both equipped with a standard 3.5L V6 engine. And while the horsepower on the Honda Ridgeline is just slightly higher and their fuel economy is virtually the same, the significantly lighter weight of the Toyota Tacoma gives it a lot more towing power. 1,500 pounds more towing power, to be exact, clocking in at 6,500 pounds.
